Coonalpyn silo art project sign

The Coonalpyn silo art project transformed the town’s Viterra grain silos into a large-scale mural featuring five local Coonalpyn Primary School children, symbolising the town’s future. World-renowned artist Guido van Helten created the artwork, which was the first silo art project in South Australia. The project was part of a broader initiative called “Creating Coonalpyn,” aimed at revitalising the town through art.

The Coorong Council approached Brand Action to create an interpretive sign and brochure on the story of the silos, the artist and the community message.
