Robinvale’s proud war heritage continued after WWII where the surrounding land was acquired and parcelled up as part of the soldier settlement scheme, and was principally used for agriculture. Many of the streets in the town are named after significant war battles Australian’s have served in over the years.
The Robinvale District also takes great pride in its French connection, paving the way for a long and warm twin-town relationship with the village of Villers-Bretonneux who extend their gratitude to Australia.
The website design was focused on sharing the proud ANZAC history, the story of Robinvale, the War Memorial Park and relationship with Villers-Bretonneux.
