These Packsaddle Sturt’s Steps visitor signs, mounted at the historic Packsaddle Roadhouse, are vibrant, purpose-built wayfinding and welcome tools designed to orient and educate travellers on the Sturt’s Steps Touring Route. Featuring the same bold, stylised outback illustration, the signs combine cartoon figures with sweeping landscape gradients to deliver approachability and clarity.
The welcome panel offers a light-hearted introduction with a speech bubble message and QR code linking to a welcome video and the Sturt’s Steps app, while the adjoining map panel clearly traces the touring route’s key stops and remote travel safety advice. Together, they blend outback charm with essential information – delivering a practical and friendly visitor experience that’s grounded in local identity and smart regional branding.
