The Perry Sandhills interpretive sign is designed with a bold and vibrant aesthetic to reflect the striking natural beauty and cultural significance of the site. Featuring rich imagery, layered colours and flowing visual motifs that mimic the movement of land and sand, the panel integrates informative text, historical context, Aboriginal heritage and geological insight in a balanced layout. Large photographic visuals – including aerials and community events – enhance the storytelling, while playful design elements like fossil illustrations and sunset scenes help engage families and visitors of all ages. The overall design effectively connects the land’s deep history with modern-day experience, inviting exploration through a visually immersive presentation.
